After squandering the iPhone 12 minidaily for the past two months, I think it just might be my favorite iPhoneever formed. In a world of big telephones, it’s really freshening to see a smaller flagshipiPhone. We have seen small-scale iPhones in the past with the iPhone SE and then the iPhone SE 2, but I wouldn’t really consider those flagship telephones. They had some major accommodations thatset them apart from the prime iPhone lineup, but the 12 Mini doesn’t have those. It’s literallyan iPhone 12, only smaller and 100 dollars cheaper, and a great deal of parties, including me, are finding out that’s exactly what they wanted The 12 mini has the new sharp-worded sides of the1 2, a little of a throwback to the iPhone 4 and 5 if you remember those telephones, and it feelsvery futuristic in the hand, merely a minimal slab of metal and glass. That smaller use factormakes it super easy to slip in pockets, but more importantly, I have relatively small sides and Ican still touch all four angles of the display, something I can’t really do comfortably on thenormal sized iPhone 12. And I’m telling you guys, even though it is a smaller phone, it doesn’tfeel that small-minded when you’re using it because the display is border to periphery, it’s 5.4 inches, and to settle that in perspective, the iphone 6 plus 7 plus and 8 plus from simply afew years ago, those all had 5.5 inch parades, and those telephones footprints were room larger. I’venever immediately felt that this phone was too small, it just fits so well in the side and it’s reallyjust a rapture to use.If you have massive handwritings or if you’ve been using a huge phone like the iphone1 1 pro max or a samsung galaxy indicate invention, this telephone might not be for you, butfor anybody else, I’d hearten you to at least try it out in store and hear foryourself how it feels, it might surprise you. The talkers on the earpiece andthe bottom of the phone sound good , not enormous, but a noticeable improvementover the iphone se that i was coming from. All the brand-new iPhone 12 s have what’s called “ceramicshield”, a new special glass that coats both the front and the back of the phone that Apple saysprovides the phone with four times more drop protection than any previous iPhone glass. Butabout a few weeks into owning the phone I inadvertently introduced that ceramic shield to the test. Okay, so Iwent on this hike earlier in the day, as I was moving, I tripped and I came and I merely absolutely smashedthe screen of this phone into a rock.I did have a tempered glass screen protector on that wasshattered from the dusk. So we’re gonna peel that screen shield off and see if the phone itselfis actually injury. It’s coming off, it’s very shattered towards the bottom, it is absolutelyperfect , no cracks whatsoever on the glass. As far as other striking pattern divergences, the1 2 mini is fully compatible with all new MagSafe accessories, which is the new magnetized accessorylineup from apple that works with magnets in the back of the phone. I haven’t had the chanceto assessment any of these supplements more, but from what I’ve heard from friends, MagSafe is kindameh at the moment. Like the MagSafe charger is pretty cool, but you might as well precisely provided yourphone on a wireless charger, it’s not like that’s super difficult, and the wallet has been knownto pop off the phone relatively easily, so that’s pretty concerning.But who knows, maybe some newMagSafe supplements will come out that will be more useful than the ones currently available.The presentation is extremely abrupt, actually, it’s the sharpest iPhone display ever with 476 pixels per inch, and it’s an OLED XDR display, which is a huge upgrade over something like theiPhone 11 and the iPhone SE’s LCD displays. You get considerably better dynamic straddle with deeper blacksand a much brighter max brightness when considering HDR content, and that’s really nice becauseHDR content is becoming more and more common peculiarly here on YouTube, so it’s greatthat I can watch that straight from my phone. Speaking of HDR, a huge new aspect of the iPhone1 2 lineup is the ability to record Dolby vision HDR footage at up to 4k 30 frames / second, andthe pro patterns can actually record up to 4k 60. Video filmed on this phone looks astounding, stabilization is great, and with HDR recording, the highlights actually pop out. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to notice the difference now over this YouTube video because this video is notHDR, but cartel me, it looks great on the phone. Photos are superb as well, very typicaliphone style photos with good shade saturation and perhaps a little over inflated dynamicrange.You have your regular 12 megapixel lens and then another 12 megapixel ultra wide lens. I lovethe ultra wide angle perspective, I use this all the time and I would take this any day of the weekover a telephoto lens. It too play-act really well in low-pitched glowing situations because of apple’snight mode. This draw was made at around 11:30 PM and there were no illuminates on within 100 yardsor so, more the picture still seems relatively well uncovered, even if it does lose a bit of detailthat you’ll notice if you start to zoom in. By far the weakest sphere of the iphone 12 mini is the battery life, and with a phone this small you just can’t fit the same sizebattery that you could put on a larger phone, and that’s noticeable from the screen on time youget with this.Most daytimes i be brought to an end with maybe five to ten percent battery life after about fourto four and a half hours of screen on time, so that isn’t cruel but it’s not great.For most people that is advisable to usable but if you’re a ponderous used you will probablykill this thing before the end of the day so that’s definitely something to considerif you’re looking into the 12 mini. And lastly, I’ll briefly touch on the rush ofthis telephone. I necessitate, it’s fast, it has the newest A14 bionic chip, it is therefore will pretty much handlewhatever you propel at it, and if you get this phone, you should be set for the next three tofour years easily. It also has 5G abilities, which was a big headlining feature of the iPhone1 2s, but at least on T-mobile, it’s kind of spotty at the moment.In some locations, I’ll get speedson equality with 5G judgments, but at my suite, where I usually am for a majority of the members of my dates, my accelerates are just about the same as conventional 4G hurries. So undoubtedly your results will varydepending on what carrier you have and they should continue to improve as 5G continues to become morewidespread. So the 12 mini is impressive, to say the least. I cherish this phone, and I think thisis a big step in doing parties “ve realized that” small-scale phones still have a place in the flagship market.I’m really interested to see what other fellowships are going to come out with their own tiny telephones, not just as budget alternatives like we’ve seen them in the past, but as a full small-scale flagship device.Make sure to sub to the channel if you want more material like this, like the video if you likedit, and I’ll catch you guys in the next one.
